| Troopers for a Safer Ohio, established in 1994, conducts lobbying on behalf
of Ohio’s Troopers and maintains a political action committee (PAC). It lends financial
support to those causes and individuals who support the goals of Ohio’s troopers in
creating a safer environment for the citizens of Ohio. TSO was established to create
a physical separation of the funds donated for and spent for political purposes as
opposed to those used for fraternal, philanthropic or labor representation. TSO generates
its funding from public contributions obtained through phone solicitation. TSO has its
own elected officers, and its own identity.
