Something new for all retirees: |
| Hello, please allow me to first introduce you to this exciting new
association for all retirees. The association was created in June of
2001 and it currently has members from all ranks, sections and
uniforms of retirees of the division. The fee to belong to OSTRA is
$12.00 per year and you receive life and disability insurance
as well as access to many discounts for other needed necessities.
You have a trustee elected by your district lodge to help oversee
and guide your elected officers of OSTRA. In May 2003 at the Combined Board Conference a resolution was read asking that the combined board expand to allow the president and vice-president of OSTRA to have seats on the combined board. The combined board at its next meeting will act upon this resolution. Your elected officers are as follows, Executive Director is Jim Roberts, President is Ed Richardson, Vice-President is Bob Cooper, Secretary is Wayne McGlone and Treasurer Steve Staley. The elected officers and trustees will be working hard to bring you new services in the near future. We have membership cards, newsletters and most of all an ear for you to tell us what it is that concerns you the most and what your needs are.
